    STRATTON COMPACT ~ BUTTERFLY MOTIF ~
    Round Compact, 2 3/4 inch, vintage.  Near perfect on the exterior.  There is no puff.  The lid of the compartment Reads Stratton.  The mirror appears clear in most light, but on careful examination there is a light film.  The sifter looks clean however, I can smell the that there has been residue powder in the compartment.The top appears to be layers of enamel, one of yellow and one transparent to protect the butterfly which is a print off some sort.  Vintage, 1950-60.
