    What you see is a priceless collection from a single veteran’s estate. Please note that this was a very large collection and more will become available from this estate. As you scroll through the pictures, you will see this young man left high school in New Albany to enlist in the US Navy. He received his diploma, included, after his discharge. Inside the original envelope from the US War Department, he kept letters of commendation from both the White House and the State of Indiana, as he went on to serve in the Air Force Reserves in the Korean War as well.
    As seen in the pictures he was a Victory Medal recipient.
